The NoButtonsHeadset is a must have for anyone who is quadriplegic, has Arthritis, ALS, Cerebral Palsy, Upper Extremity disabilities or any other physical disability or handicap that limits the ability for them to push a button. It is the only Truly "Hands-Free" Bluetooth Cell Phone Headset.
It makes your cell phone easily accessible (without having to push any buttons) so it gives the user independance and confidence to go places...knowing that (if necessary) they can call for help (without assistance). It enables the user to call friends, business contacts, medical contacts, emergency numbers, etc...all independantly; without help from a care taker or family member.
The Q1 and the Q2 are both Bluetooth cell phone headsets that are triggered (or activated) by using a magnet. To execute a command you pass the headset near...then away from a magnet (to mimic a click). Once the NoButtonsHeadset passes near a magnet (within an inch or so) either headset will ask you to "Say a Command".
Here is a partial list of things you can say (applies to both the Q1 and the Q2 (several more commands are available):
- "Phone Commands"......The NoButtonsHeadset connects to your phone's built-in Voice Commands
. - "What can I say".........The NoButtonsHeadset will tell you what commands are available
. - "Teach Me"................The NoButtonsHeadset will say a command and ask you to repeat it (for practice)
. - "Am I connected".......The NoButtonsHeadset will tell you if it is connected to a phone
. - "Check Battery".........The NoButtonsHeadser tells you the charge level of its battery and the connected phone's battery
. - "Cancel".....................The NoButtonsHeadset returns to standby without performing any action
Q2 Features (in addition to the partial list above)
- For incoming calls the Q2 tells you the name of the person calling (must be in your address book)
. - The Q2 has a switch to turn it ON or OFF...it can be left in the ON position all the time so even if the user cannot push a button it will not inhibit using it...but you have to be able to slide the switch to turn it OFF (for example, if you did not want to receive any calls)
. - The Q2 is more rugged (stronger) than the Q1
. - The Q2 has superior noise canceling (the Q1 noise canceling is very good...but the Q2 is even better)
. - The Q2 can use your phone's built-in Voice Commands to make phone calls
Q1 Features (in addition to the partial list above)
- The Q1 can use your phone's built-in Voice Commands to make phone calls...If your phone does not have built-in Voice Commands...the Q1 can access the phone's Speed Dial feature.
. - The Q1 has excellent background noise canceling...but not quite as good as the Q2
. - The Q1 can be turned ON or OFF using a magnet. To execute a command you pass the headset near a magnet quickly (less than a second). To turn the NoButtonsHeadset ON or OFF you keep it near the magnet for 3 seconds. You will hear ascending tones when it turns ON or descending tones when it turns OFF. NOTE: This can be difficult for some people who can only move slowly because they may intend to "click" the headset...but if they keep it near the magnet for more than 3 seconds it will turn OFF.
