Who makes the v1 headset ?

BlueAnt makes the V1 headset. A small start-up company called ALT modifies the headset to by-pass the need for the BlueAnt Button.

Is the headset warranted ?

Yes, ALT warranties the headset to be free of defects in material or workmanship for 1 year. The BlueAnt warranty is voided because of the modifications.

What if I can't tip my head ?

Contact me and let me know what your limitations are and I will make my best effort to work out a solution for you.

What if I cannot speak clearly ?

If the BlueAnt headset cannot understand your voice you can still receive calls by simply tipping your head forward when a call is incoming.

Is my phone compatible ?

If your phone has Bluetooth it more than likely supports a Handsfree or Headset Bluetooth profile, and so will work with the V1. Check your phone's manual for up to date information.

Does this headset work any different than a non-modified BlueAnt V1 headset ?

The only difference is you do not have to push the BlueAnt button to make or receive a call or to turn the headset on or off. The headset has been modified so that the need to push the BlueAnt button is replaced by tipping your head forward to initiate a command that normally is controlled by pushing the button.
